Sandusky, Ohio

Scope: Original church construction dates back to 1898. A new slate roof was installed roughly 15 years prior. Although no other major exterior building restoration work was previously completed, an in-depth inspection was completed of the entire building envelope to determine the restoration needs and to prepare a budget.

Exterior Maintenance and Restoration of this church included: heavy washing/cleaning, substantial amount of carbon staining removed, joint sealant replacement, substantial tuck pointing, painting, and sealing the stone, new concrete sidewalks, steps and railings, new monumental sign base and stone infills and minor slate roof repair/construction.
