Exterior Masonry Maintenance and Restoration

SCOPE: Senior Project Management and Design Lead. PSDG put together a dynamic team consisting of MEP Engineers, EDGE Certified consultants, building envelope consultants and others who are experts in their field.

The Ohio Veterans Home proposed many upgrades to their Sandusky Facility which include masonry repairs and restoration, replace handrails and guardrails, repair concrete stairs, new exterior stairs and new brushed stainless-steel railings. Weekly meetings were held by the design team to prepare budgetary estimates, set-up mockups, review products with staff, provide testing on site for exterior of all four buildings and review energy efficient green building practices. PSDG contracted with Mays Consulting to provide testing of building envelope budgets and prepare drawings for restoration work.
